She is the youngest daughter of Naomi
Judd and Michael Ciminella.
Ashley is a sister of the Kappa Kappa
Gama sorority. She attended UK (University of Kentucky) with a degree in
French and four minors in anthropology, art history, theatrical and
women's studies, Judd has studied the Meisner technique in acting for
several years.
She turned down a larger role in Kuffs
(1992) because she was asked to do nude scenes. She responded, "My
mother worked too hard for me to take my clothes off in my first
movie." She also had a role in Oliver Stone's "Natural Born
Killers", but it was left on the cutting room floor. The movie does
contain evidence that she was in it though.
In 1996, she was named one of People
Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People In The World".
Her latest movie Double Jeopardy was a
big hit. She acted with Tommy Lee Jones. And we are waiting for his new
movie called 'Eye of the Beholder'. It will be filmed in the year 2000.
