Kirsten Dunst
Born Kirsten Caroline Dunst on April 30, 1982 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, Kirsten's family is made up of her brother Christian (4 years younger than Kirsten), moth Inez (artist) and father Klaus (medical services
executive) who divorced Kirsten's mother when she was 13.
Kirsten's career first started at the age of 4 when she became an Elite model. She juggled
modeling as well as doing commercials, and small roles in television and film.
Although starring in many films including 'The Bonfire of the Vanities' and 'High Strung', Kirsten's big break didn't come until at the age of 13 when she starred as a young vampire, Claudia, in 'Interview with the Vampire'. This movie shot her up to immediate stardom, as she became recognized as an actress, also earning her a Golden Globe nomination, the MTV Award for Best Breakthrough Performance and the Saturn award for Best Young Actress.
From this point, Kirsten worked endlessly and starred in over 30 other films. Her most famous ones including 'Little Women' (1994), Jumanji (1995), Wag the Dog (1997), Strike (1998), Dick (1999), Bring it On (2000) and Crazy/Beautiful (2001). Kirsten continues to star in films and will be starring in the upcoming film 'Spiderman' with Tobey Maguire.
As well as making movies, Kirsten has continued her education and graduated recently from Notre Dame high school, a private Catholic school. After a short break, Kirsten plans on finishing her education by studying literature at college. She is now working on her own production company with her mother called "Wooden Spoon Productions." Kirsten currently resides in California with her mother, brother, 3 cats (Felix, Zorro, Cat) and Yorkshire Terrier (Beauty).
